(TSX-V GPG)\n("Grande Portage" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the following\nsummary of it's 2007 diamond drilling program at the Merry Widow Massive\nSulphide project on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Weather permitting,\nthe Company intends to drill up to three more Zones before the end of the\ncalendar year.\n\n\nSpecific highlights of the drill program include:\n\nMW07-72: 8.16 metres of 5.82 g/t Au, 0.66 g/t Ag, 0.405% Co\n - Including: 4.5 metres of 9.25 g/t Au, 1.00 g/t Ag, 0.702% Co\n\nMW07-88: 10.24 metres of 4.01 g/t Au, 4.32 g/t Ag and 0.21% Cu\n - Including 1.94 metres grading 19.39 g/t Au, 18.92 g/t Ag and\n 0.93% Cu.\n\nMarten Zone\n\nA total of 24 holes (MW07-55 to MW07-78) totaling 1648.71 metres were\ncompleted on the Marten Zone. This Zone outcrops on surface south-west of the\nMerry Widow open pit and adjacent to the South Pit Zone. Massive sulphides\nand/or mineralized skarn assemblages were intersected in every hole. Copper\nvalues were lower than those for the Merry Widow pit area, however, a number\nof encouraging gold, silver and cobalt assays are reported in the table below.\nOnly the more significant intercepts are reported.
