[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 3195F Grainger PLC 20 February 2018 \n\n \n20 February 2018\n \nGrainger plc\n \n \nAppointment of Director of Land and Development\n \n \nGrainger plc, the UK's largest listed residential landlord, today announces that it has appointed Mike Keaveney as Director of Land and Development. \n \nMike Keaveney has over 29 years of hands-on real estate and development experience. His expertise includes management of complex residential-led mixed use developments across the whole development lifecycle from identification and acquisition through to town planning, funding, construction, marketing, operation and exit. \n \nMike's appointment further strengthens Grainger's development capability to support its growth plans. Grainger currently has 10 private rented sector (PRS) build to rent development projects underway through both direct development and forward funding and plans to continue its growth trajectory through further acquisitions and developments. Mike Keaveney will hold overall responsibility for the delivery and growth of Grainger's development pipeline.\n \nMike Keaveney will report into Helen Gordon, Chief Executive, and he will work closely alongside Grainger's Director of Investment, Andrew Saunderson, and Grainger's Chief Operating Officer, John Kenny.\n \nReporting into Mike Keaveney will be Paul McGowan, Director of Land, who joined Grainger at the beginning of the year and who is responsible for identifying new land acquisition opportunities, and Mark Woodrow, Director of Development.\n \nPrior to joining Grainger, Mike Keaveney was Development Director at Concord London Developments Ltd, working for Concord Pacific, Canada's largest community builder. Most recently he led on the acquisition of the Moxon Street car park site in Marylebone from Westminster City Council with a gross development value of £300m and was instrumental in the joint venture with Brookfield to develop out the 50 storey residential tower and affordable housing blocks at Principal Place in London EC1. \n \nMike's early career was at Osprey PMI (part of Franklin + Andrews; now Mott MacDonald) where he was an Equity Partner and Board Director responsible for the London Office of Osprey PMI and its Commercial Development projects in the UK prior to moving to Ridgefo...
