Board Composition
Gore Street Energy Storage Fund plc has announced significant changes to its Board composition, appointing Keith Pickard as Non-Executive Director and Audit Chair designate, effective February 1, 2026, and Christine Higgins as Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director, effective February 16, 2026. Norman Crighton will also assume the role of Chair of the Management Engagement Committee immediately. These appointments are part of an orderly succession process, with Caroline Banszky retiring after the handover of the audit chair role and Lisa Scenna retiring from the Board on April 1, 2026. Keith will shadow Caroline Banszky, the current Audit Chair, through the completion of the year-end process to ensure a comprehensive handover of responsibilities. \n \nKeith Pickard is a chartered accountant with over 20 years' experience acting in leadership and finance roles in infrastructure for investment managers, and latterly as Chief Operating Officer for InfraRed Capital Partners, an infrastructure focused investment manager with US$14 billion AUM. At InfraRed, where he worked for 14 years, Keith was Chief Finance Officer for HICL Infrastructure plc, the FTSE250 investment company.\n \nBefore InfraRed, Keith was a portfolio director at John Laing plc for five years, responsible for acquisitions and portfolio management. He also served on their investment committee.\n \nKeith is a Council member and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Valuation Committee member for Federated Hermes Infrastructure.\n \nAppointment of Christine Higgins as Non-Executive Director\n \nChristine Higgins will join the Board with effect from 16 February 2026 and, upon her appointment, will assume the role of Senior Independent Director.\n\nChristine Higgins is an experienced Non-Executive Director serving on boards across regulated sectors for over 16 years, including for the last nine years in financial services. She is currently a Non-Executive Director and Audit Chair on the board of Macquarie Capital (Europe) Limited.\n \nChristine is a chartered accountant and former senior banker with a 20-year career in asset finance. She worked internationally, leading teams at ANZ (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group), Bank of America and NAB (National Australia Bank), with a focus on financing infrastructure and transportation assets across public and private markets in the UK and Europe.\n \nIt is confirmed that there are no other details to be disclosed concerning Keith P...
