The festival will be part of the brewery’s goal of becoming an important part of the growing community of microbreweries in the Riverhead area.Although all of the details are not yet fully worked out, the company plans to release a special brew each year available only at the festival to draw in beer enthusiasts. the company also plans to have a Venison roast as part of the event using a professional chef to offer attendees a unique experience. Long Beard Brewery’s CEO explained, “Riverhead is an emerging center of craft beer, and we want to position ourselves at the forefront of that growing trend and encourage people to come out and try something new.” Festivals such as this, offer companies like Long Beard Brewing Company a unique opportunity to gain priceless exposure, raise extra money, and create a larger customer base while promoting the growth of local industries.
