(OTCPink: GVSI) today announced that a recent shooting\nof an unarmed black man shows exactly how big the need is for body cameras such\nas those supplied and manufactured by its wholly owned subsidiary, Vindai\nCorporation. The incident in which Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing shot\nand killed Samuel Debose may have been dismissed as self defense, except that\nOfficer Tensing was wearing a body camera, which showed prosecutors that he\nin-fact committed murder, and did not shoot in self defense.\n\n The shooting took place\nduring a traffic strop where Debose refused to produce a driver’s license and\nwhen the officer attempted to open his car door, things went south. According\nto the officer, Debose attempted to run him over but the video doesn’t lie.\nIt’s clear that while Debose may have attempted to take off, the officer was at\nno time in harms way. The officer refuses to let go of Debose and shoots him\npoint blank in the head. Thanks to a body camera, the truth is clear and the\nofficer can be prosecuted.
