The new\noffering, launched at Photonics West 2008, will deliver a comprehensive\nportfolio of customised optical components to the global industrial laser,\nbio-medical, defence and metrology market places.\n\n\nThe launch will see Gooch & Housego UK, Cleveland Crystals, NEOS Technologies,\nLandwehr Electronic and SIFAM Fibre Optics joined as one company with\nheadquarters in the UK and offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia.\nThe move comes exactly sixty years after Archie Gooch and Leslie Housego\ncollaborated to form a company that would emerge as a leader in precision optics\nand crystalline materials.\n\n\n'The launch of this new global offering is a hugely positive step for Gooch &\nHousego, our customers and the industry,' said Gooch & Housego CEO, Gareth\nJones.
