[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 6486M Goldstone Resources Ltd 19 August 2011 \n \n\nGoldstone Resources Limited\n \n(\"Goldstone\" or the \"Company\")\n \nManso Amenfi - Ghana: Final Soil Sampling Results\n \nGoldStone Resources Ltd (AIM: GRL) the West and Central Africa focused gold exploration company, is pleased to announce the final soil sampling results for the Manso Amenfi project in Ghana. \nKey Points\n· Final sampling results for Manso Amenfi have yielded multiple robust gold in soil anomalies of up to five kilometres in strike length\n \n· Of the 2,070 soil samples taken from the permit area 378 had anomalous gold concentrations ranging from 20 parts per billion to 2.4 g/t\n \n· Intense artisanal gold mining in the south western part of the permit area and the margin of a granite intrusion in the southern part of the permit area coincide with significant gold in soil anomalies\nDr. Hendrik Schloemann, GoldStone's Exploration Director, commented: \"The outcome of this soil survey has exceeded our expectations and outlined several highly prospective targets for follow-up work. As a consequence this project has now become a more valued part of our portfolio of properties and follow-up work on these targets is a priority for GoldStone.\"\n \nSoil Sampling Programme and Results\nA soil sampling programme covering the entire permit area was completed during June. A total of 2,070 samples were collected every 100 metres along north-west trending lines 400 metres apart. Of the samples taken, 378 had anomalous gold concentrations ranging from 20 parts per billion to 2.4 g/t. The results clearly demonstrate the presence of multiple, robust and elongated gold in soil anomalies which are up to five kilometres in strike length. The strikes of the anomalies appear to be parallel to the gold-fertile Salman and Ayanfuri structural corridors. \nDuring the field programme, the Company's geologists also located various artisanal gold mining sites in the permit area which seem to be exploiting mainly alluvial deposits.
