The ball mill, feed conveyor, gravity\nconcentrators, water reticulation, lighting to allow 24 hour operation and the\ntailings stock dam are now complete, giving GRG the facilities to process\nsurface materials with grades of 10-12 g/t gold that are amenable to gravity\nconcentration. At the end of August 2007, 1200 tonnes of this material,\npurchased from the small miners in Ghana, was on site and 100 tonnes had been\nprocessed producing a gravity concentrate. Carbon in leach ('CIL') tanks are now\nbeing installed to further improve the overall recovery of gold from the small\nminers' surface material and remove surface materials from the environment. In\nline with expectations, the plant is expected to be fully operational in the\nfirst half of 2008.\n\nA total of 11 Ghanaians are now employed at GRG under the leadership of an\nadministration officer, procurement officer and a production supervisor.\n\n\nProcessing and Raw Materials\n\nGold production at the mill has commenced and raw materials are being secured.\nProduction from the liners and fine carbon has been consistent and is expected\nto continue. Liners are now being collected from Golden Star's Wassa mine and\nCentral African Gold's Bibiani mine.\n\nSignificant savings have been achieved through the negotiation of lower purchase\nprices of raw material for the mill as well as transport costs. This has allowed\naccess to lower grade stocks and/or stocks further away from Tema such as the\nObuasi region.\n\nOffers for a further 4000 tonnes have been accepted and transporters are\npreparing to transport this material. Arrangements have been made to process on\na 24 hour basis as soon as the new team has been trained.\n\nFollowing further site visits the directors bel...
