(\"Augen Gold\" or \"the Company\") (TSX-V: GLD), today announces that it has engaged Castle Communications Group (\"Castle\") as its corporate communications and investor relations consultant until June 30, 2010. Castle is a Nova Scotia based corporate communications company and corporate funding company. Castle will provide Augen Gold with corporate communications and investor relations services.Castle will receive a retainer of $5,000 with any additional expenses to be pre-approved by two officers of the Company. In addition, 500,000 stock options to purchase common shares of the Company are being granted to Castle at an exercise price of $0.15 per share, expiring on February 2, 2015. The grant is subject to TSX Venture Exchange and regulatory approval. Under the Company's stock option plan, 10% of the issued capital or 4,991,656 common shares are reserved for issuance. Including the above grant, a total of 2,550,000 options are outstanding under the stock option plan.Brian Cavanagh, President of Castle, is an investment professional with over 30 years of investment industry experience as an advisor with senior management responsibilities.As at the date of this press release, Castle and its principals, directly and indirectly, do not own any common shares of Augen Gold.
