The meeting scheduled for tomorrow is therefore postponed to September 30, 2010. A new record date for notice of the meeting and voting will be determined by Augen Gold in the near future and the location of the meeting will be set forth in a new management information circular to be delivered to shareholders.\nPursuant to an agreement reached with interested parties, it is expected that if there is to be an alternative slate of directors, an information circular will be filed in connection with the solicitation of proxies. Pursuant to the agreement, Mr. Peter Chodos resigned from the board of Augen Gold effective today and Augen Gold and Mr. Chodos entered into a full and final release in relation to his service on the board.\n\nAbout Augen Gold:\n\nAugen Gold is a gold exploration company with 23,877 hectares of staked and patented mining claims in the Southern Swayze Greenstone Belt, including the formerly producing Jerome Gold Mine. The claims cover a 45 kilometre long section of the Ridout Deformation Zone, believed to be the western extension of the Kirkland Lake/Larder Lake Break. The geological setting is comparable to the major gold camps of Timmins and Kirkland Lake, and the claims contain numerous gold showings that have received very little historical exploration. Augen Gold is the first company to have assembled a coherent ground position.
