[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nMONTREAL, March 9 /CNW Telbec/ - (TSX-V: GGR), Golden Goose Resources\nInc. is pleased to announce that drilling at the Magino gold property near\nWawa, Ontario, has encountered a new type of high grade mineralization. The\nintersection, which graded 11.1 grams of gold per tonne over a core length of\n10.5 metres (uncut), is approximately 400 vertical metres below surface, and\n200 metres to the south of the previous Magino mine workings.\n\n\nDrill Hole From To Length Gold\n (m) (m) (m) (g/t)\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\nHole 606.00 608.65 2.65 1.56\n07-19A\nMassive Sulfide Zone\n and : 610.50 621.00 10.50 11.14\nExhalite and QFP Zone including 617.00 621.00 4.00 28.19\n\nThe intercept was located at the contact between a massive sulphide and an\nexhalite formation which lie stratigraphically below the granodiorite\nformation which hosts the known resources on the property. There has been no\nprevious drilling in this formation in the area of this intercept. This gold\nzone is present in the exhalite, which is directly in contact with a felsic\nintrusive (QFP). The gold is disseminated in massive sulphides, and in a\nstockwork of quartz veins in the QFP. The QFP is host to quartz veins\ncontaining visible gold. The massive sulphide consists of two bands of 1 and\n2 metres widths, essentially composed of pyrite and pyrhotite with up to 2% of\nchalcopyrite. The new formation was discovered on the\nfourth hole of a 14,000-metre program which began in November, 2006.\nThe drilling program also provided numerous drill intercepts in the\ngranodiorite formation, also below existing resources, which appear to extend\nseveral known zones of mineralization at depth.
