(TSX-V:\nGGR) (the "Company") announces that Francois Perron has been appointed as\nPresident and CEO of Golden Goose by the board of directors, effective May 1,\n2009. The board believes that Mr. Perron brings key talents to continue the\ndevelopment of the Company's Magino gold mine near Wawa, Ontario.\n\n\nMr. Perron is widely known in the resource industry as for his success as\na fund manager, consistently outperforming industry benchmarks. Most recently,\nhe managed a resource focused portfolio for NBC Alternative Investments.\nPrevious to that, he managed various resource funds for the Caisse de Depot et\nPlacement du Quebec from 2001 to 2007. Before that he worked as a senior\nanalyst for Merrill Lynch.\n\n\n"I am very excited about taking on the role of CEO of Golden Goose, and\nhelping to unlock the tremendous value of the company's Magino gold deposit,"\nMr. Perron said recently.\n\n\nJean-Marc Lacoste, who will remain President and CEO until May 1, 2009,\nwill at that time assume the role of chairman of the Golden Goose board to\nhelp pursue the Company's goal of becoming a junior gold producer. He will\nhave a 1-year consulting contract to ensure a smooth management transition.\n\n\nGolden Goose continues to evaluate the advanced exploration opportunity\nat Magino.
