[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nRICHMOND, BC, Oct. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Great Canadian Gaming Corporation [TSX:GC] (\"Great Canadian\" or the \"Company\") announced today that PDX\n Entertainment Company (\"PDX\"), an Oregon corporation in which Great\n Canadian has a minority equity interest, and other proponents of the\n Oregon State ballot measures 82 and 83 are suspending campaign\n operations and will no longer be running paid communications in support\n of a proposed entertainment and gaming complex on a 31 acre site in\n Wood Village, Oregon, a city approximately 20 kilometres east of\n Portland.\n\n\nDespite the enthusiasm that many Oregon residents have expressed in\n support of this initiative in the last few weeks, it appears to the\n campaign team that not enough voters are ready to add a private casino\n to the state's gaming options.
