[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\nRICHMOND, BC, May 7, 2014 /CNW/ - Great Canadian Gaming Corporation [TSX:GC] (\"Great Canadian\" or \"the Company\") announced today that it will hold\n an annual general meeting of shareholders (the \"Meeting\") on June 19,\n 2014. The record date for the shareholders entitled to vote at the\n Meeting has been set as shareholders of record as at the close of\n business on April 24, 2014.\n\n\nThe Company also announces that the board of directors (the \"Board\") of\n the Company has approved an advance notice policy (the \"Advance Notice\n Policy\"). The Advance Notice Policy sets a deadline by which holders of\n record of common shares of the Company must submit director nominations\n to the Company before any annual or special meeting of shareholders,\n sets forth the information that a shareholder must include in the\n notice to the Company, and establishes the form in which the\n shareholder must submit the notice for that notice to be in proper\n written form.\n\n\nIn the case of an annual meeting of shareholders, notice to the Company\n must be made not less than 30 days nor more than 65 days before the\n date of the annual meeting.
