("MHI") is\npleased to announce that Mr. Rafael Pinedo has been appointed to its Board of\nDirectors. Mr. Pinedo, based in Texas, U.S.A. has over twenty five years\nexperience in the energy and finance sectors. He is currently the President\nand CEO of Pilgrim Petroleum Corporation and General Energy Corporation, which\nare involved in oil and gas exploration projects and producing oil and gas\nassets in a wide range of geographical areas. He was the founder and former\nprincipal of American Capital Investment, LLC, an investment banking firm.\nDuring 1985 to 1999, he built his career in the IT Industry and was a business\nconsultant for Cap Gemini America, Ernst & Young, and was Senior Vice\nPresident of Oracle Corporation and Computer Associates International.\n\n\nThe Company regrets that Mr. Hans Schwabl, who has been the Company's\ndirector since 1996 is retiring from the Board of Directors but has agreed to\nbe a member of the Advisory Board. The Board of Directors wishes to record its\nappreciation to Mr. Schwabl for his ongoing support through the Company's\ngrowth.\n\n\nAs part of its strategy to diversify its resources, MHI is exploring new\nopportunities in the oil and gas industry in Northern America. The appointment\nof Mr Pinedo to the Board and his leadership participation in the oil and gas\nindustry will enhance MHI's prospect in its new direction.\n\n\nAs announced in the Company's news release on July 21, 2008, the Company\nintends to also perform geothermal exploration and resource assessment in\nNorth Western British Columbia through Nass Energy Inc.
