(TSX.V: "GMV") ("the\nCompany" or "Goldmember") is pleased to announce that it has received the\nnecessary permits for its Phase I diamond drilling program on its 100% owned\nAlexis Creek gold property, west of Williams Lake, B.C.\n\n\nThe Company has contracted Westcore Drilling of Hope, B.C. to drill the\nproperty with a Phase I program comprising 2,000 metres in 4-8 holes and will\ntest both high chargeability and high resistivity targets. It is anticipated\nthat the drilling will take up to one month to complete. The core diameter\nwill be NQ.\n\n\nCrews are on site and have completed the following activities:\n\n1. Plow 60 kilometres of access road to access camp and drill sites\n2. Spot the first 4 drill holes and access roads\n3. Refurbish and expand the existing exploration camp to accommodate\n drilling activities\n\n\nThe grid is currently being expanded with linecutting crews establishing\nlines to the northeast and southwest of the open-ended chargeability anomaly.\nThe drill is scheduled to depart Hope, BC on Feb 20, 2008 with drilling to\ncommence by Feb. 23, 2008.\n\n\nDrill core samples will be tested at ALS Chemex facility in North\nVancouver, BC. The Company will complete a standard multi-element ICP analysis\nwith the addition of gold by fire assay of a 30-gram pulp. Any silver and base\nmetals (copper, lead, zinc) that exceed the ICP method detection limit will be\nanalysed by more precise assay methods.\n\n\nIn addition to this work on the Alexis property, linecutting crews are\ncurrently working on the Nechako property, completing the grid extensions to\ngrids 2 and 3. A ground magnetic survey is underway on the existing lines on\ngrids 2 and 3 and will include the grid expansions. The drill will move from\nthe Alexis property to the Nechako property where the Company plans to drill\n2,500-3,000 metres of NQ sized core in 6-10 holes, testing both high\nresistivity and high chargeability targets.\n\n\nWesley Raven, P.
