[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Nov. 8, 2011 /CNW/ - GMV Minerals Inc. (the \"Company\" or \"GMV\") (TSX-V: GMV) is pleased to announce that it\n has received further detailed airborne magnetic and gamma-ray\n spectrometry survey data. The new data covers GMV's Five Star-Mathews\n Ridge claims in the north west region of Guyana.\n\n\nThe airborne survey was comprised of 10,850 line-kilometres of magnetics\n and gamma-ray spectrometry acquired on north-south traverses tied by\n east-west control lines on a 200 x 2,000 m grid pattern.    Enhancement\n filters applied to the magnetic grid have highlighted a number of\n dominant structural orientations and trends. Definite 'breaks' in the\n predominate NE fabric are shown by the magnetics and identified as\n target Areas of Interest. These cross-trends provide potential for\n significant fracturing and mobilization of mineralized fluids.\n\n\nFive discrete zones of 'structural complexity' were identified from the\n magnetic analysis as occurring on GMV ground. The most prospective\n areas are those where inferred structural complexity occurs adjacent to\n the regions of magnetic discontinuity which themselves are indicative\n of regional shear zones. Gold mineralization is known to occur near\n major crustal breaks manifesting as large-scale shear zones, which act\n as conduits for mineralizing fluids. Mineralization often occurs in\n regions of structural complexity adjacent to shear zones such as those\n found.   The known mineralization of the area appears to correlate to\n higher gamma-ray spectrometer counts generally, and higher potassium\n specifically. Extensions of these high zones are noted to extend onto\n GMV ground and therefore present themselves as promising areas for\n further investigation.\n\n\nA program of geological prospecting, geochemical sampling and ground\n geophysics consisting of detailed magnetics and 3D induced polarization\n / resistivity is recommended to further delineate the conductive zones\n and possible identify disseminated sulphides which in turn could\n indicate anomalous Au mineralization.\n\n\nThis news release has been reviewed and approved by Christopher (Kit)\n Campbell, P. Geo., a Qualified Person in accordance with National\n Instrument 43-101 - Standards for Disclosure for Mineral Projects.\n\n\nAbout GMV Minerals Inc.\n\n\nG...
