(the \"Company\" or \"GMV\") (TSX-V: GMV) held its Annual General Meeting\n in Vancouver, BC., on Friday, December 9, 2011. All management proposed\n resolutions were passed at the Meeting. The following directors were\n re-elected at the Meeting and at a subsequent board of directors\n meeting, the following appointments were made:\n\n\nIan Klassen~Director, President & CEO\n\n\nAlistair McLennan~ Chairman\n\n\nDouglas Perkins~ Director, Vice President, (Exploration) Member of the\n Audit Committee\n\n\nDavid McMillan~ Director, Chair of the Audit Committee\n\n\nClare Copeland~ Director, Member of the Audit Committee\n\n\nAlfro Alphonso~ Director, GMV Guyana Resources Inc. (100% owned\n subsidiary)\n\n\nMichele Pillon~ Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary\n\n\nGMV Guyana Resources Inc. has discovered numerous airborne anomalies\n with its completed 33,400+ line km airborne survey.  Many of these\n anomalies extend the structure of known deposits with coincident\n alluvial gold anomalies. These anomalies are being tested with\n geological mapping, ground geophysics, soil sampling and diamond\n drilling. To date, drills have tested siliceous, brecciated sulfide\n rich horizons to depths of up to 360+ meters in locations. The next\n targeted areas includes a target on a structure trending from the\n Aurora deposit with active alluvial mining and one between the Peters\n Mine and recent hard rock and alluvial gold discoveries.\n\n\nAbout GMV Minerals Inc.\n\n\nGMV Minerals Inc. is a junior exploration company focused on the\n discovery of gold assets in Guyana, South America where it holds\n mineral rights to nearly 900 sq. miles.
