(the "Company" or\n "GMV") (TSX-V: GMV) is pleased to announce that, effective immediately,\n Mr. William Woolford has joined the Board of Directors of GMV Guyana\n Resources Inc., its 100% owned operating subsidiary.\n\n\nMr. Woolford enjoyed a very long and celebrated career at the Guyana\n Geology & Mines Commission ("GGMC").  He began his career at the GGMC\n in 1975 as Inspector of Mines and proceeded to hold a variety of senior\n roles including that of Senior Mining Engineer, Manager (Mines), Chief\n Mining Engineer, Deputy Commissioner and lastly as Commissioner where\n he concluded his career earlier this year.\n\n\nMr. Woolford is a distinguished graduate of Dalhousie University,\n 1970-1973, BSc. (Engineering) as well as a graduate of Nova Scotia\n Technical College 1973-1975, B. Eng. (Mining), Halifax, Nova Scotia,\n Canada.  Mr. Woolford is a past recipient of Dalhousie University's\n James L.
