Projected wood pellet consumption worldwide from 2010 to 2020

Malaysia, Wednesday February 14, 2018 – Consumption of wood pellets in Western Europe is projected will increased 45% from 16.4 million tons in 2015, to 23.8 million tons in 2020. Despite Western Europe is projected still as the major and largest market for wood pellets, however research study found out that wood pellets in China is projected will grow tremendously in 2020.

In 2015, China is consumed about 3 million tons of wood pellets, which ranked 4^th largest market after North America and Japan & South Korea. But China consumption of wood pellet is projected will increase to 10 million tons in 2020. It will make China will as 2^nd largest market after Western Europe. The projected incremental of 233% is very encouraging and give confident to our company to involve in this wood pellet business

Wood pellets consumptions in North America and Japan & South Korea in 2020, is projected grow by 30% from 4.3 million tons in 2015 to 5.6 million tons, and 45% from 3.8 million tons in 2015 to 5.5 million tons respectively.
