[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n16 August 2024\n \n\nGlobalData Plc\n \nUpdate to Share Buyback Programme\n \n \nGlobalData Plc ('GlobalData' or the 'Group') announced on 31 July 2024 a return of surplus capital of £10 million to shareholders to be implemented through a share buyback programme of GlobalData's ordinary shares (the 'Share Buyback Programme').\n \nUnder the terms of the Share Buyback Programme as originally announced, GlobalData will not purchase more than 25% of the average daily volume of its shares, being based on the average daily volume traded in the 20 trading days preceding the date of purchase.
