(MHI), has been awarded a contract for the supply of 100 Bus Queue Shelters (BQS) in Bangalore, India by the Bangalore Public Transport Authorities through one of the largest Indian media and entertainment advertising companies. \n\nThe successful execution of a contract for a prototype Bus Queue Shelter in Bangalore in April 2008 led to the procurement of this contract for fabrication and installation of 100 Bus Queue Shelters by MHI. The total value of the contract commencing on August 1st, 2008 is US$780,000 and has to be executed within a timeframe of 60 days. The successful manufacture and installation of the Bus Queue Shelters under this contract will likely lead to a second order for around the same volume. MHI expects a major revenue growth from this segment of the market during the current financial year and plans an aggressive resource deployment strategy towards supporting clients' expansion needs. \n\nA fast growing metropolis, the garden city of Bangalore is the capital of the southern Indian state of Karnataka.
