[{"type":"text","content":"Vancouver, BC / TheNewswire / February 5th 2018, - Global Li-Ion Graphite Corp. (\"LION\" or, the \"Company\") (CSE: LION) is pleased to announce it has received the final report for a minerology and assay analysis study undertaken by the company and completed by SGS Labs Canada, on a graphite sample taken from its past-producing Ambato-Arana Graphite Project in Madagascar. The sample studied is graphite concentrate post-crushing, grinding, flotation and drying. The analysis by SGS Canada Inc. has returned what management feels are very positive results, the most significant of which are: 7.7% of the sample being of 30 mesh or greater - i.e. super jumbo flake size, 51.5% being of 48 mesh or greater - i.e. jumbo flake size and 76.0% being of 65 mesh or greater - i.e. large flake size. In terms of carbon content, the sample has shown to be 96% carbon content. SGS also reported in summary that: The graphite grain size distribution (GSD) is relatively coarse, with very few fines The graphite grains observed within this sample would seem to have a high competency The particle size distribution (PSD) indicated is very coarse \"The study results support our belief in the projects potential as a possible near term producer of high value graphite. The market value of graphite is largely a function of purity and grain size of the end product with larger grain size generally being of higher value and the most sought after product. The Company has compiled a large amount of historical data from the past operators and relevant Malagasy government bodies. Management is now working with Pascal Marchand M. Sc, P. Geo. to complete a confirmation and delineation drill program to best plan resuming production of high grade high quality graphite at its Ambata-Arana Graphite mine,\" states Sam Malin, special advisor to the Board. About the Malagasy Graphite Property The three mining exploitation licenses that comprise the Project are located in the vicinity of Andasibe in Toamasina Province in Madagascar, 20 km to the southwest of Sheritt's Ambatovy nickel/cobalt laterite open pit mine, and 200km via road from the seaport of Toamasina, Madagascar's main port. The licenses total 4,375 hectares (10,811 acres). Graphite was produced on the licenses for roughly a century from 1910. The production to date has been free digging of lateritic ore and open p...
