(Nasdaq: GILD) today announced that Health Canada has approved LYVDELZI (seladelpar) for the treatment of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) in combination with ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) in adults who have had an inadequate response to UDCA alone, or as monotherapy in patients unable to tolerate UDCA. This market authorization has been issued with conditions pending the results of trials to verify its clinical benefit.
