[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol TSX:V GTC\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Aug. 22 /CNW/ - The company is pleased to announce that it has\nrestructured its board of directors team.\n\n\nMr. Robert Peterson has joined Getty Copper Incorporated as a Director.\nMr. Peterson is an experienced mining professional whose experience includes\nalmost twenty years with Kennecott Copper culminating as Utah Copper Division\nSmelting and Refining Manager, Utah Refinery Manager, and Tintic Division\nGeneral Manager. A major achievement with Kennecott was successful start-up of\na totally modernized 250,000 ton per year copper smelter in 1979-1980.
