The Company also reported its financial results for the third quarter and year to date 2021 periods. As of September 30, 2021, the Company had $215.8 million in cash and marketable securities. These financial resources, combined with expected future non-dilutive funding under a current debt facility, are expected to be sufficient to fund current operations, including the new programs presented at the Investor Event, through the end of the first quarter of 2023.\n\n“By targeting telomerase, imetelstat inhibits the uncontrolled proliferation of malignant stem and progenitor cells in myeloid hematologic malignancies, resulting in malignant cell apoptosis and potential disease-modifying activity,” said John A.
