[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 2799H Global Petroleum Ltd 31 July 2019 \n\n31 July 2019\n \nGlobal Petroleum Limited\n \nJUNE 2019 QUARTERLY REPORT\n \nThe Board of Global Petroleum Limited (\"Global\" or \"Company\") is pleased to present its Quarterly Report for the period ending 30 June 2019.\n \nSummary\n· In Namibia:\n- the Company continued to carry out interpretation of the existing data in PEL 0094;\n- initial contacts with counterparties took place in relation to a potential farm-out of PEL 0094 and PEL 0029.\n· In Italy during the reporting period, the Company announced that:\n- The Administrative Tribunal in Rome( 'Rome Tribunal') had rejected appeals made by a further four parties against the Environmental Decrees for the Company's applications in the Southern Adriatic;\n- The Italian Region of Puglia ('Puglia') had appealed against the judgements of the Rome Tribunal in relation to the Company's applications d82 F.R-GP and d83 F.R-GP - the appeals were made to the Council of State, the highest level of appeal in Italy.\n· Post the Reporting Period:\n- Puglia has recently made additional appeals to the Council of State. against the judgements of the Rome Tribunal in relation to the Company's other two applications, d80 F.R-GP and d80 F.R-GP;\n- the Rome Tribunal rejected the sole outstanding appeal against the Environmental Decrees for the Company's applications: by the town of Trani, in relation to d82 F.R-GP and d83 F.R-GP, again with an award of costs against the appellant.\n· In summary, the latest judgement means that all first instance appeals made to the Rome Tribunal have been adjudicated in Global's favour; Puglia - as the Italian region principally interested - has appealed to the Council of State in respect of all judgements made against Puglia by the Rome Tribunal. \n \nFor further information please visit www.globalpetroleum.com.au or contact:\n \n\n\n\n\nGlobal Petroleum Limited\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nPeter Hill, Managing Director & CEO\n\n\n+44 (0) 20 7495 6802\n\n\n\n\nAndrew Draffin, Company Secretary\n\n\n+61 (0)3 8611 5333\n\n\n\n\nCantor Fitzgerald Europe...
