Their greatest fear is to die alone and\nthat their demise not be known to others for a few days. For this reason and\nmany others, the Japanese government pays 90% of the cost of personal robots\nused for eldercare such that concern would be well addressed. Further, the\nJapanese government is paying 75% of the R&D costs to develop robotic\nhealthcare solutions for greater productivity to provide more cost effective\ncare giving for their extraordinarily large senior population.\n\n \n\nThis new partner is unsure of the mass appeal of the\nPepper robot and its present inability for safe ambulation around humans and\nfragile surroundings.
