[{"type":"text","content":"\n Asia Energy PLC\n29 November 2005\n\n\nAsia Energy PLC\n\n29 November 2005\n\n\n Cash Placing ('Placing') raises US$52 m before expenses\n\nThis announcement is not for publication or distribution, directly or\nindirectly, in or into the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, New\nZealand or the Republic of Ireland or any jurisdiction in which such publication\nor distribution is unlawful.\n\nFurther to the announcement by Asia Energy PLC ('Asia Energy') dated 29 November\n2005 setting out details of a cash placing and following completion of the\nbookbuilding process, Asia Energy is pleased to announce the placing price and\nthe number of shares being placed.\n\nAsia Energy confirms that a total of 6,740,000 shares have been placed by\nJPMorgan Cazenove at a price of 450 pence per share, raising approximately\nUS$52m before expenses.
