[{"type":"text","content":"\n Mobile Streams plc\n17 February 2006\n\n\n17 February 2006\n\n\n\nMobile Streams announces appointment of Mark Carleton as non-executive director\n\n\nMobile Streams plc ('Mobile Streams' or 'the Company'), the global mobile media\nspecialist, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Carleton as\nnon-executive Board director with immediate effect.\n\n\nMark Carleton is currently Senior Vice-President of US cable and media\ninvestment group Liberty Media Corporation ('Liberty') and chairman of Liberty's\nwireless location subsidiary TruePosition, Inc.\n\n\nMark's appointment follows Mobile Streams' recent strategic alliance with\nLiberty Media and TruePosition, through which Liberty acquired a 22% stake in\nMobile Streams. In addition, Mobile Streams signed a multi-million dollar\nagreement to manage and operate ConnectID, the US mobile tracking business\ncontrolled by TruePosition.\n\n\nMark Carleton, Chairman of TruePosition and senior executive of Liberty, said:\n'After extensive research into the mobile content market and due diligence on\nMobile Streams, we decided to invest in the company.
