The\nnew board consists of William H Bird, Donald M Lay, David A Haber and new\nmember, Roderick C McKeen. Rod McKeen is a partner of Axium Law Corporation, a\nCanadian law firm that specializes in providing securities law, corporate\nfinance, mergers and acquisitions and mining law advice to an international\nclientele of emerging companies. McKeen has 23 years experience in all aspects\nof advising mineral exploration and mining companies, including those listed\non the Toronto, TSX Venture, American and London stock exchanges.\nIn connection with the election of McKeen to the Board of Directors, the\nCompany, under its Stock Option Plan dated 13 September 2006, has granted\n100,000 incentive stock options, exercisable at $0.30 per share, for a term of\nfive years.\nMedallion Resources Ltd (TSX-V: MDL) is exploring the Ocelot gold\nproperty, which is located 40 kilometres northwest of Austin, Nevada.\nExploration targets potentially deep, high-grade mineralization of the\nepithermal quartz-adularia gold-exploration model. Gold deposits such as\nMidas, Silver Cloud, and deeper portions of Sleeper and Grassy Mountain\nexemplify this model. Typical of the epithermal quartz-adularia gold model,\nthe Ocelot property contains widespread occurrences of silicification,\nanomalous gold values and a quartz-adularia hot-springs system.\nThe Ocelot property lies at the intersection of two major Nevada gold\ntrends, the Independence-Crescent Valley Lineament and the Austin-Lovelock\nmineral belt. Both trends host significant gold deposits and the intersection\nof the two trends creates an excellent gold-exploration target.
