(NYSE: GM) announced today that at \nthe Corporation's request, the Financial Services Authority (\"FSA\") in the U.K. \nhas authorized shares of GM's $1-2/3 Par Value Common Stock to be delisted from \ntrading on the London Stock Exchange (\"LSE\") at the opening of trading on the \nLSE on Monday, May 21, 2007.\n The request by GM for delisting on the LSE is part of GM's plan to\nconcentrate the trading of its shares on the NYSE, to eliminate the listing\nfees charged by other exchanges, and to avoid multiple regulatory schemes that\ngovern corporations whose shares are traded on exchanges located in more than\none jurisdiction. GM recently delisted its shares from the Toronto, Pacific,\nChicago and Philadelphia Stock Exchanges in North America and the Frankfurt\nand Dusseldorf Exchanges in Germany.\n\n General Motors Corp.
