[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 8896Y\n Futura Medical PLC\n 17 May 2021\n \n \n \n \n 17 May 2021\n \n \n \n \n \n Futura Medical plc\n \n \n \n \n \n (\"Futura\" or the \"Company\")\n \n \n \n \n \n Posting of Circular and Notice of General Meeting\n \n \n \n \n \n Further to the Company's announcement of 17 May 2021, that it has conditionally raised £12 million before fees and expenses by way of a Placing and Retail Offer with certain existing institutional and other investors, Futura confirms that the Circular (containing a notice convening the General Meeting) has been posted to Shareholders and will shortly be available for download on the Company's website: \n https://www.futuramedical.com\n \n \n Comple\n tion of the Fundraising is conditional, inter alia, upon Shareholder approval of the Resolutions to be proposed at a general meeting of the Company, expected to be held at the offices of Futura Medical plc at Surrey Technology Centre, 40 Occam Road, Guildford, Surrey GU2 7YG at 10:00 a.m. on 2 June 2021.\n \n \n The ongoing Government restrictions on mass gatherings, non-essential travel and social contact in relation to COVID are likely to impact the ability of Shareholders to attend the General Meeting. Based on current restrictions, the Board has concluded that it is appropriate to strongly urge shareholders not to attend the General Meeting in person this year.
