[{"type":"text","content":"\n Futura Medical PLC\n09 August 2007\n\nFor immediate release 9 August 2007\n\n\n\n Futura Medical Plc\n ('Futura' or 'the Company')\n\n Successful results from CSD500 condom study\n\nFutura Medical plc (AIM: FUM), the pharmaceutical group that develops innovative\nproducts for the consumer healthcare market, is pleased to announce positive\nresults from a user study of CSD500, Futura's novel product to help men maintain\na full erection when wearing a condom. The study, equally funded by Futura and\nits marketing and distribution partner SSL International plc (SSL), successfully\nmet its primary endpoint of demonstrating a firmer erection through the use of\nthe CSD500 condom compared with a standard condom. This result was highly\nstatistically significant.\n\nThe study's secondary endpoints of increased penile size and a longer-lasting\nsexual experience also revealed positive, statistically significant data. These\nresults from the double-blind, randomised, cross-over study will complete the\nregulatory package for CSD500.\n\nThe study included 108 healthy couples, the men of which had at some time\nexperienced a loss or partial loss of erection whilst using standard condoms.
