[{"type":"text","content":"\n Futura Medical PLC\n17 July 2006\n\n\n\n\nFor immediate release 17 July 2006\n\n\n\n Futura Medical plc\n\n Announces FLD500 scale-up trials\n\n\n\nFutura Medical plc (AIM: FUM) the pharmaceutical and medical device group that\ndevelops innovative products for the sexual health market, announces pilot\nscale-up trials of its Female Lubrication Device (FLD500) ahead of dossier\nsubmission for the product's regulatory approval.\n\n\n\nA successful outcome of these trials will facilitate the submission to EU\nregulators during the first quarter of 2007 for FLD500's marketing\nauthorisation.\n\n\n\nFLD500 is a standard DurexTM 'easy on' condom with a thin elastomer coating\ncontaining an active compound on the outer surface to promote greater natural\nlubrication and heightened pleasure for women.
