Prof Moore's extensive\nexperience of pain relief, from both academic and commercial perspectives, is\nexpected to be of great value in the development of TPR100, Futura's topical\ntreatment for the provision of pain relief.\n\n\n\nProf Moore, a former Consultant Biochemist at the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford,\nhas published many scientific articles. He moved into industry in 1985 as\nmanaging director of the UK division of a US diagnostics company, taking it from\nsix to 250 employees and achieving profitability. In 1994, he established his\nown healthcare consultancy, which has worked for many of the world's leading\npharmaceutical companies, and he has also advised Government.\n\n\n\nProf Moore is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Bandolier, an independent\njournal on evidence based healthcare whose electronic version,\nwww.ebandolier.com, receives more than one million visitors each month. In\n1994, he was appointed Honorary Professor at the Department of Health Sciences,\nUniversity of Wales.\n\n\n\nJames Barder, Futura's Chief Executive, said: 'I am delighted to welcome a\nscientific adviser of Prof Moore's calibre to Futura.
