(\"Wildcat\") (TSX-V:\nWEL) is pleased to announce, on December 14, 2005, the first closing on \nnon-brokered private placements totaling $520,000 which was first announced\nNovember 30, 2005.\nThe placements comprise flow-through and non-flow through units. The flow\nthrough component consists of 1,125,000 units at $0.40 per unit, each unit\ncomprised of one flow-through share and one half warrant, each full warrant\nentitling the holder to acquire one common share on the payment of the\nexercise price of $0.70 per full warrant for a period of twelve months from\nthe closing date.\nThe non-flow through component consists of 200,000 units at $0.35 per\nunit, each unit comprised of one common share and one warrant, each warrant\nentitling the holder to acquire one common share on the payment of the\nexercise price of $0.45 per warrant for a period of twelve months from the\nclosing date.\nAll of the securities issued are subject to a four-month hold period\npursuant to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.\nProceeds from this offering will be used to advance the Company's \non-going projects in the Bissett gold mining camp of Manitoba and the Foster\nRiver base metal project in Saskatchewan.
