(TSX-V: WEL) is\npleased to announce the close of a financing comprising non-brokered private\nplacements totaling 942,500 Units for $377,000 which was first announced\nJanuary 16, 2006.\nThe placements are comprised of Units. Each Unit is priced at $0.40,\nconsisting of one Common Share and one Warrant, each Warrant entitling the\nholder to purchase one Common Share for a period of 24 months from the Closing\nDate at a price of $0.50 per Share.\nA 2% finder's fee of 2,000 Common Shares was paid on one private\nplacement.\nCertain insiders have participated in the offer by purchasing 687,500\nUnits for a total of $275,000.\nAll of the securities issued are subject to a four-month hold period\npursuant to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.\nProceeds from this offering will be used to cover administrative cost\nassociated with the Company's on-going projects in the Bissett and Snow Lake\nareas of Manitoba and the Foster River base metal project in Saskatchewan.\n\nAbout Wildcat Exploration\n\nWildcat is a Winnipeg-based mineral exploration company actively\nexploring for gold and base metals in Canada.
