(\"Wildcat\") (TSX-V:\nWEL) regretfully announces that its' current drill program (announced\ninitially in a Press Release dated January 9, 2006) in the Bissett area has\nbeen terminated due to exceedingly mild weather conditions.\nWildcats' proposed work program comprised a minimum 2500 meter diamond\ndrill program to be carried out on the Poundmaker and Siderock gold\nproperties. To date, 4 drill holes have been completed for a total of\n739 meters; all holes are located on the Poundmaker property. The remaining\nproposed drilling on the Poundmaker property was slated for the Poundmaker\ndeposit. In order for this drilling to be accomplished the drill rig must be\npositioned on a pond adjacent the Poundmaker deposit. However, due to the\nprolonged mild weather affecting southern Manitoba this winter, insufficient\nice has been developed to safely support a drill rig on lakes, ponds etc.\nSimilarly, the diamond drill program proposed for the Siderock property\ncannot be completed at this time due to mild weather conditions. The property\nis inaccessible due to insufficient ice development over lakes and wetlands\nrequired to be crossed to access the drill area.\nThe company is working on a contingency plan that would allow it to\ncomplete its proposed drill program later this winter. This plan is contingent\nupon a) cold weather prevailing over the Bissett area over the next few weeks\nand b) a drill contractor can be found to complete this work.\nWildcat will plan, implement and manage the exploration program with\nEduard Sawitzky, P.
