This new store is licensed for all of Frontera's products and services, including its gold lending product and is located in Encinitas, California. Frontera now operates seven full service branches and one full service kiosk. As previously reported, 4 additional stores are in the pipeline which the Company plans to open within the next six months as funding is obtained to satisfy the acquisition costs and working capital requirements of each new store. Frontera also announced that it has filed its 2008 Annual Report with Pink OTC Markets Inc. (the leading inter-dealer electronic quotation and trading system in the over-the-counter OTC securities market) on March 27, 2009. The Hispanic market is currently estimated at 40 million consumers, over half do not use any form of banking service.
