[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 3162P Fresnillo PLC 14 July 2010 \n \n\n Fresnillo Plc\n28 Grosvenor Street\nLondon W1K 4QR\nUnited Kingdom\nwww.fresnilloplc.com\n \n14 July 2010\n \nProduction Report \nfor the three months ended 30 June 2010 \nOverview \n· Second quarter (9.6moz) and first half (19.1moz) silver production each achieved record levels when compared to same periods of previous years. \n· Quarterly attributable gold production achieved a new record at 91,254 ounces, an increase of 33.9% over the corresponding period last year.\n· Attributable gold production at Soledad & Dipolos continued ramping-up to 16,298 ounces. \n· Construction of the Saucito development project and the expansion of Ciénega's milling capacity are progressing according to schedule. \n· Cost reduction efforts and efficiency initiatives remain firmly on track. \n \n \nJaime Lomelín, Chief Executive Officer, said:\n\"We have accomplished another quarter of stable silver production and promising exploration results. Quarterly gold production has reached a new record level once again, thanks to the efficient ramping-up of production at Soledad-Dipolos. Our exploration programme remains firmly on track and we continued working hard over the quarter on the development of the Saucito project and on the expansion of milling capacity at Ciénega.
