(TSX-V:HPY, the \"Company\") announces results from\nexploration of the Hen and Art-DL properties, located about 16\nkilometres southeast of the Boss Mt. molybdenum mine, and 57\nkilometres northeast of 100 Mile House in the south Central Cariboo\nregion of British Columbia, Canada. The properties adjoin the\nCompany's Silverboss property to the north. The Hen and Art-DL\nproperties are 100% owned by Happy Creek Minerals Ltd. and\napproximately 5172 hectares (52 square kilometres) and 2,625 hectares\n(26 square kilometres) in area, respectively.\n\n\n\nDuring 2011, the Company performed prospecting, rock, stream sediment\nand systematic soil geochemical surveys that expanded previous surveys\ncovering portions of the Hen and Art-DL properties. In total, 708\nsoil, 20 stream sediment (silt) and 21 rock samples were collected.\nRock samples contain from less than 0.01 to 1.04 grams per tonne (g/t)\ngold, less than 0.01 to 17.7 g/t silver and 2.8 to 1,300 parts per\nmillion (ppm) copper. Soil samples returned values from trace to 0.10\ng/t gold, 2.1 g/t silver, 480 ppm copper, 16.9 ppm molybdenum and 627\nppm zinc. Silt samples returned from trace to 0.03 g/t gold, 0.60 g/t\nsilver, 193 ppm copper, 11.6 ppm molybdenum and 180 ppm zinc.\n\n\n\nDavid Blann, President and CEO of Happy Creek states: \"Our Hen\nand Art-DL properties have several styles of mineralization with gold\nand silver. On the Hen property we have previously trenched 4.0\nmetres of 2.08 g/t gold, with grab samples up to 35 g/t gold. In\n2010,on the Art-DL property we drilled 72.5 metres of 4.0 g/t silver\nincluding 20.0 metres of 8.5 g/t silver in a zone that occurs from\nsurface. The 2011 results have expanded the area containing positive\nresults and additional exploration is planned.\"\n\n\n\nExploration on the Hen property in 2011 located outcrops of fractured\ngranodiorite containing pyrite and chalcopyrite (copper sulphide). Two\nsamples about 250 metres apart returned 1,300 ppm copper (0.13%\ncopper), 0.03 g/t gold, 3.18 g/t silver and 1,110 ppm copper (0.11%\ncopper), 0.02 g/t gold, respectively. The first-pass samples, along\nwith previous work by the Company, indicate potential f...
