Receives Magnetic Survey Results and Outlines Plans for Field work at Highland Valley \n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n May 3, 2021 –\n \n \n TheNewswire\n-\n \n \n Vancouver, British Columbia – Happy Creek\nMinerals Ltd. (TSXV:HPY)\n \n \n (OTC:HPYCF)\n \n \n (“Happy Creek” or the “Company”) has received the\nfinal results of a high-resolution helicopter-borne magnetic survey\ncovering the Company’s Rateria Property in the Highland Valley\ndistrict of British Columbia (see Figure 1 attached to this news\nrelease and available on the Company’s website).\n \n \n \n Mike Cathro, P.Geo, Interim President and CEO stated: “We are very\nexcited about the results of this survey, and about getting on the\nground to do follow-up as soon as the snow melts. This magnetic\ninformation is an important tool that will help the Company extend the\nknown deposits, and refine other drill targets on this highly\nprospective property. Giant copper deposits at Highland Valley are\nknown to be associated with linear breaks and lows in magnetic\nintensity, both of which are clearly visible on the Company’s new\nmaps. These types of magnetic features often reflect faults,\nprospective felsic intrusive phases and altered rocks that may be\nassociated porphyry copper-molybdenum deposits”.\n \n \n The Company and its consultants are reviewing the new magnetic data in\n3D, in the context of its extensive historical database and its own\nmore recently acquired drilling, geology, geochemistry and induced\npolarization geophysical information, in order to choose areas for\nfollow-up field work and drill targeting.\n \n \n C.J. Greig and Associates Ltd., the Company’s lead geological\nconsultant, will begin a Phase 1 program of field work in late May,\nincluding geological mapping, alteration studies, soil sampling and\nground geophysics to refine targets for follow-up drilling.\n \n \n The high-resolution airborne magnetic survey was flown in February\n2021 under the direction of Alex Walcott of Peter E. Walcott and\nAssociates Limited. A total of 1,660 kilometres were flown using a\nstinger-mounted magnetometer on an AS350-B2 helicopter, with a mean\nsensor height of 38 metres above the ground. Lines were oriented in an\neast-northeast...
