Announces the Appointment of Mr. Robert Parent as Chief Financial Officer\n\nToronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - May 1, 2012) - GC-Global Capital Corp.’s (TSXV: GDE.A) (\"Global Capital\" or “the Company”) Chief Executive Officer Jason Ewart is pleased to announce, that as part of its structural and strategic realignment, in addition to Mr. Robert Parent’s recent appointment as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Parent has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Combining the CFO and COO positions will allow Global Capital to coordinate the operational and financial adjustments that will create the basis for Global Capital’s growth going forward. As noted in prior press releases, a focus on operations is consistent with the Company’s recent investments in Marathon Mortgage Corporation, Attorneys Title Guarantee Fund, Inc. and Tanenbaum Landscape & Design Inc.Mr. Parent has over 10 years of experience working in the financial sector and capital markets in various management roles. Most recently he was Chief Financial Officer for the administrator of a group of investment funds where he was responsible for redesigning the processes to drive operational efficiency. Mr. Parent has a strong background in operations and has rolled out a number of retail products and services. Prior to his most recent CFO role he worked as a senior manager with Scotiabank developing products and services for the retail banking and worked as a high net worth investment advisor. Prior to working in the financial sector, Mr. Parent also spent a number of years working in the space industry developing and operationalizing space flight systems and satellite flight control software.
