Mr. Duerr is\nalso a partner in an Alberta-based First Nations partnership focusing on\nenergy and infrastructure development on First Nations Reserve and traditional\nlands. Previously, Mr. Duerr served as CEO of the China and International\nProjects Group of a European-based, international finance company. Mr. Duerr\nalso served in the public sector as Mayor of Calgary, Alberta for 12 years\nfrom 1989 to 2001, leading Calgary from a post-Olympic recession to the\nfastest growing city in the country. Mr. Duerr currently resides in Calgary\nwith his family.\nJoanne Lemke is a communications professional with 23 years of experience\nin the agriculture and food industry. Ms. Lemke established a communications\nconsulting company in 2003 and has implemented province-wide communications\nand marketing initiatives over the past several years. She also participated\nin industry and government trade missions to the United States and Asia. She\nrecently chaired a national global marketing committee for the Canadian beef\nindustry to advise on programs and funding for the next 10 years. From 1983 to\n2002, Ms. Lemke managed public affairs and promotion at the Alberta Cattle\nCommission (now Alberta Beef Producers).
