TORONTO, Aug. 15 /CNW/ - Forsys Metals Corp (the "Company" or "Forsys")
is pleased to announce that Snowden Mining Industry Consultants of
Johannesburg, South Africa has been retained to immediately commence with
delivering a National Instrument 43-101 technical report (the "Technical
Report") on the Valencia Uranium Deposit.
Snowden is a well-respected consulting firm specializing in Mining
Engineering services with offices in Johannesburg, Perth and Brisbane,
Australia, Vancouver, Canada and London, England. Snowden has extensive
experience in both open pit and underground mining methods and undertakes
evaluation, design, development and management of mining projects, from hard
rock operations through to industrial minerals. Snowden's capabilities include
due diligence audits, specialist technical evaluation, preliminary mining
studies, full feasibility studies and mine optimization studies.
Graham Greenway, BSc (Hons) Geology, University of Natal, MSAIMM, MGAA
will be the principal resource consultant responsible for the overall project
management, site visit, resource estimate and writing of the Technical Report.
Mr. Greenway has over 15 years experience in the African mining industry, most
notable to the Valencia Uranium Deposit, was his four years as Chief Geologist
for the opencast Rossing Uranium mine in Namibia.
