TORONTO, Canada - Ubika Research has initiated research coverage on La Quinta Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: LAQ) a junior gold exploration company, with an initiation report titled, " Planning to Add New Shine to Nevada’s Easter Property” (June 11, 2010).
La Quinta Resources is a promising junior gold exploration company. The property of focus for LAQ is the Easter gold project in Nevada, which it recently acquired from Nevada Eagle Resources, a subsidiary of Fronteer Gold Inc (TSX:FRG), (NYSE Amex:FRG).
The Easter Property has significant exploration history. The company was able to acquire this property on reasonable terms, which potentially will allow it to extract significant value if the future exploration plans are successful.
On June 9, 2010, the company announced a NI 43-101 compliant indicated resource estimate of 101,700 ounces of gold based on past drilling data at its Easter Property. Ubika Research believes that the company will now focus on significantly expanding the existing resource estimate through a focused drilling program in coming months.
