Teslin Closes First Tranche of Private Placement

Aug. 10, 2010 (Filing Services Canada) -- Teslin River Resources Corp. (TLR - TSX Venture), ("Teslin" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has closed the first tranche of its non-brokered private placement raising $47,500 through the issuance of 250,000 units at a price of $0.05 per unit and 700,000 flow-through units at a price of $0.05 per flow-through unit.  Each unit consists of one common share and one share purchase warrant, with each such share purchase warrant entitling the holder to acquire an additional common share of the Company at a price of $0.10 per share for a one year period.  Each flow-through unit consists of one flow-through common share and one half of one share purchase warrant, with each such share purchase warrant entitling the holder to acquire an additional common share of the Company at a price of $0.10 per share for a one year period. A total of 49,000 broker warrants (on the same terms of the private placement) were issued and $2,450 was paid as part of a finders' fee.  The securities issued under the private placement are subject to a four month hold period expiring on December 11, 2010.
