(TSXV: FTZ, OTCQB: FTZFF)\n \n\n (“\n \n\n Fitzroy\n \n\n ” or the “\n \n\n Company\n \n\n ”) is\npleased to provide an exploration update from its ongoing 8,000 metre\n(“m”) Phase 2 drilling program at the Buen Retiro Copper Project,\nCopiapó, Chile (“\n \n\n Buen\nRetiro\n \n\n ” or the “\n \n\n Project\n \n\n ”).\n \n\n\n\n Today’s release reports assay results from diamond\ndrill holes 21\n \n\n\n\n 1\n \n\n\n\n , and 23 to 27 which\nare all located in the Southwest Area of the Project. Copper\nmineralization was intersected in all drill holes and the extent of\nmineralization along strike has been increased to 985 m. In addition,\ndefinition of continuity has improved and the average distance between\nholes along strike has been reduced to approximately 100 metres.\nFurthermore, as the trends of the Southwest and South Areas converge,\nwider zones of mineralization have been identified. Between holes 21\nand 24, several zones of shallow mineralization are present over 360 m\nof lateral extent. Oxide and mixed minerals in the Southwest Area are\ntypically seen down to vertical depths of approximately 150 metres\nalong the main trend.\n \n\n\n\n Assays are pending for holes 28 to 33, and will be\nreported soon. Holes 29 and 31 are testing a further 300 m of strike\nlength in the Southwest Area. Reverse Circulation (“\n \n\n RC\n \n\n ”) drilling in\nthe North Area at Buen Retiro is anticipated to start soon. The RC\nprogram will target hanging-wall copper mineralization on a\nmulti-kilometre geophysical anomaly that is interpreted to be shear\nzone related and oxidised down to a depth of approximately 90 metres.\nPreviously reported intersections in this area include 59 m @ 0.39%\nfrom surface, in hole 16.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Highlights:\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Hole 27 intersected several mineralized zones from top\nof bedrock (at 49 m downhole) to a downhole depth of 314 m, including\n119 m @ 0.53% Cu in oxides from 49 metres, and 23 m @ 0.5% C...
