(“VCT” or “Volt Carbon”) (TSX-V: VCT, OTCQB:\nTORVF, BERLIN: WNF) is pleased to announce the signing of a\npreliminary mineral processing agreement dated as of June 1, 2023 (the\n“Preliminary Mineral Processing Agreement”).\n \n \n \n \n Background\n \n \n \n \n With reference to GEM’s prior News Release dated May\n16, 2023, GEM provided Volt Carbon with a single 5 kilogram sample\n(the “Sample”) of crushed feedstock that was obtained from GEM’s\n100% owned Berkwood Graphite project in Quebec, Canada.  Volt Carbon\nprocessed the Sample using its proprietary\n \n \n dry\nseparation process\n \n \n technology as a test.   The\ntest result yielded 146 grams of graphite flake per kilogram of\ncrushed feedstock, reflecting a 14.6% yield of graphite flakes per\nkilogram of feedstock.  The processed material was subsequently sent\nto a third-party lab (Base Metallurgist Laboratories Ltd. in Kamloops,\nBritish Columbia)  for independent testing.  Base Metallurgist\nLaboratories Ltd. independently verified that the Volt\nCarbon-processed Sample yielded a graphite content of 91.55%, with\ntotal carbon showing at 97%.\n \n \n \n \n VCT’s Proprietary Dry Separation\nProcess\n \n \n \n \n Volt Carbon has developed a proprietary dry separation\nprocess that uses air as its separation medium (the “Process”).\nThe major benefits of the Process compared to traditional processing\nare that the Process: (i) does not use water, which eliminates a\nsignificant amount o...
